Getting To Cooma
DRIVE
Cooma township is just 114 km from Canberra, 420km from Sydney and 664km from Melbourne.
From Sydney, take the M5 South Western Motorway which links with the Hume Highway and then the Federal Highway to Canberra.
From Canberra, follow the Monaro Highway to Cooma and then the Snowy Mountains Highway to Jindabyne.
FLY
The closest airport to the NSW snowfields is the Snowy Mountains Airport, 16km south of Cooma.
Aeropelican have daily flights from Sydney that take just over an hour.
Qantas and Virgin Blue offer flights to Canberra and there are connections with major Australian cities.
TRAIN & COACH
