The Alpine Hotel is the Cooma pub in a town with a proud history.

Cooma firstly played vital role in the history of sheepfarming. Then came the Kiandra goldrush and Cooma's banks were soon bulging with bullion. In the late '40's and early '50's, Cooma played a powerful role as the headquarters of the Snowy mountains hydro electric scheme.
